Hi all,
Been downsizing my collection of spidies to fund other expenses. So I'm selling off one of my favorites, a Spyderco Ti.Lum tanto combo edge in Ats-55 blade steel. It's just not a knife that is practical for use and it's just sitting in my safe.
1st here's the terms.
1ST PAYPAL ONLY....no international sales( Canada is ok. But shipping is extra)...first come first serve. Please ask any questions before committing to buy. Knife is sold as is.. Payment is due within a timely manner or I'll move to next prospective buyer. Price includes fees and shipping. I will ship knife on Monday via priority mail and provide tracking number to you via email. Best and preferred way to contact me is via email at...*marellom@tncc.edu....which is also my PayPal.First come first serve.By agreeing to purchase a knife you are stating that you are 18 or older and are following any applicable knife laws in your area. No trades and open to reasonable offers but I am not desperate to sell it.
With that out of the way I try and describe the best I can with any noted faults but please feel free to ask for more pictures.
First knife does NOT have box or paperwork. I am the second owner of it and received it in a trade. It's never been carried by me. It is numbered stamped 582 for collectors club.
Flaws noted as follows
Snail trails on the titanium. There are no nicks or scratches at all..tried to take best pictures I could.
One clip screw appears to be stripped or close to stripped..I have never tried to change the clips position,it's tip down, but it seems a little rounded.
Lastly the lockup is early. I provided a picture of the lockup. It holds fine but liner lock engages a little too early for my liking.
That's about it for any defects a can note.
Blade is sharp, I have never cut more than paper with it. Serations or like factory. No nicks, tips blunted or attempts at sharpening. I'm not going to call it factory edge but it looks like it's never seen a stone..I know I have never sharpened it. Blade has no scratches of note.
Handle other than as noted above is clean no scratches or nicks missing hardware etc.
G10 back spacer has no chips or scratches.
Pocket clip has no scratches other than a few snail trails.
Action is smooth but still tight and blade grind is spot on.
Blade centering favors the presentation side very slightly but does not rub..
I've kept knife in my safe and it like all my knives are wiped down with a tuff cloth.
Now for price. I'm asking 210.00 shipped to your door. I know Lum's tantos go for a good amount. But this not being mint or having box etc I've tried to put a fair price on it...I'm open to reasonable offers and if you are interested in it feel free give me a shout.
I ship quick and do my best to make sure you are happy and confident in your purchase.
Thanks for looking.
