Asymmetry can be beautiful too! This knife is named for its color scheme. After reading up on 15N20, it seemed like a no brainer for me to begin offering knives in this steel, given its very similar characteristics to AEB-L, except in a carbon steel. A quick search on this steel will reveal it is quite well loved by makers new and old, and now I count myself among them. In fact, I was able to get a finer edge on 15N20 than any other steel I have tried to sharpen before. So with no further ado, here is my first offering to the exchange in this fantastic, yet easy to process (thus budget friendly for the user!) steel.
This one is comfortable, strong, and sharp, ready to serve!
Specs
Steel: 3/32" 15N20
Geometry: High Sabervex, 15° per side primary edge, 20° micro, ~.020" behind the edge
Overall Length: 7 1/2"
Cutting Edge Length: 3 1/2"
Weight: 3.1 oz, 4.2 with sheath
Handle: Black canvas Micarta bolsters, red and green G10 liners and scales, brass pins and lanyard (fob!) tube
Sheath: snap fitting black boltaron suitable for neck carry, and also compatible with Gclip or TekLok
Price is SOLD, via PayPal G&S to the email address I will provide in private messaging (not the one in my sig). First to post "I'll take it" gets priority.
Thanks for looking!
(P.S. don't worry that's nothing gross on my hands, just a bit of glue that still hasn't come off - though I'll probably just add to it)
