This is a Strider SMF with the older lock interface that I sent back to Strider about 7 months ago to get the larger stop pin fix done. And of course, for $15, Strider will take care of this knife for life
She came back perfect with very early lockup that will last for years. The lock up is SUPER solid, something I am very adamant about in my knives. The blade is centered and the action is superb and the lockbar releases smoothly. She also has a cool, heat colored lockbar overtravel disc that came with her.
I am the second owner of this knife but she has been carried gently by both me and the prior owner. She hasn't really been used for anything except light cutting. All you will see is light signs of carry by way of some minor wear on the clip and clip side and other small signs of carry here and there.
The pictures depict this knife's condition accurately IMHO.
The blade is in nearly new condition. There is a super small, minor smoothed spot on the blade stone washing on the STRIDER stamped side that has a very small scratch that takes the right angle in the right light to see. You can make out this spot on the picture near the center of the blade both width-wise and length-wise. It's minor.
The edge is the original factory edge minus some loaded stropping and a stroke or two now and then on a 1200 ceramic rod. Except for these noted comments, the blade is like new.
This is a really nice folder and although I'm selling her for other knives now, she is one of my favorite folders that has been with me for a couple years now.
Being a folding knife enthusiast, I can't see anyone else like me not feeling the same way about this SMF once they get a chance to hold her and operate her.
