Up for grabs is a Lightly used SNG. The knife is in excellent condition with the exception of a few scuffs on the clip. Never carried it much. See below.

I bought this knife new back in July. The blade centering was bad and the knife was hard to open and close. I could not center the blade without effectively making it a fixed blade. The blade also did not rotate freely. It felt like the blade was binding somewhere during its rotation. I sent it back to Strider. After I got it back it appeared that they did nothing to fix it. It was still beset by the same issues. After taking it apart myself I noticed that the blade would rotate smoothly if the back scale screw was left just a tad loose. Suspecting some sort of warpage or poor machining. I decided to put a shim ( two pieces of paper) in between the scales to see if that would help. It did. Having limited options for a fix, I decided to take a few ten thousandths off the show side washer. This did the trick to the tune of about 90% acceptable. The centering is still off. There is still some lock stick and/or play occasionally, but, it opens and closes smoothly and will lockup solid most of the time. Factory edge. Definitely not a perfect specimen but it's still pretty sweet. Priced accordingly. $old
