I am putting my Strider SnG up for sale. This is/was a user of mine and has been in and out of rotation for 10+ years. The knife itself is probably 13ish years old if I had to guess. It was bought at BladeHQ back in the day. The knife was recently sharpened at Epicurean Edge. It has not cut anything since. While taking the photos, I noticed the lock bar stabilizer was missing. They must have forgot to put it back on (smh). I did not notice that when I picked it up, so you will have to get one on there if you care about that. The knife functions great and opens nicely, but maybe a little stiff when they tightened it down. I do not have the tool to do that, so left it alone.
Lock-up is around 60% or so. There is no "death" lock-stick, but there is a bit of grind that can be felt. It is very light and does interrupt your natural instinct of force that should be applied to close it. I suspect you could get rid of it altogether with a Sharpie if you cared. I remember buying this SnG from blade HQ as a "swap-out" from my initial one I had purchased from them a week prior. I had to return it. It was a two handed operation to get it open - true lock sitck. This is not like that at all.
Overall, very cool knife! This was a not an abused knife whatsoever. Its hardest days were cutting cardboard
