If you haven't got the memo yet, Stuart is a certifiable rising star among young bladesmiths. His inherent talent and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of his work.

This is a gorgeous little piece. Integrals are such a significant challenge - deceptively simple to look at but vastly more dificult to execute. It is the forged blade rendered in a pure, elemental form that is entirely unforgiving of any error in line or proportion.

You'll find no errors here. Stuart nailed this one.

The specs are as follows:

Construction: Integral with full tapered tang.
Blade length: 4"
Overall Length: 8 3/8"
Steel: 1095 with a gorgeous hamon
Handle: Stabilized redwood burl.
Sheath: Exceptional tooled pouch by maker.

The pics will tell the rest of the story:

This knife is offered at US$350 which is inclusive of shipping (within US and Canada) and Paypal (vastly preferred). I will ship overseas to a Bladeforums member, but that will be at additional and actual cost and it is very pricey.

Factor in what is essentially a Paul Long quality sheath, and if you find a better value at this price point, buy three of 'em.

I am, as always, happy to answer any questions, but the first "I'll take it" via e-mail or PM will get this one.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Forgive me Roger, but I have to say that is a gorgeous package--knife, sheath (deer skin lined?), burl handle wood, stunning hamon. Perfect field dressing knife for whitetail and perfect timing with hunting season approaching. I'm sorely tempted, and if I didn't already have one on order from Stuart I'd be all over that one.

Will - I will withhold my forgiveness and offer my thanks instead. Stuart will do you proud on your order. Sold pending funds.

Nice to see old friends of mine getting together, especially when they share a deep appreciation of fine blades, and even moreso when the bridge is forged in such a beautiful piece by such a talented maker at the beginning of his career.

Congratulations to all.

Roland,

Great snag on this beautiful knife. I have lost sleep over missing this one. If you ever decide it is not right for you, please contact me.

Roger P.

If you happen to have any other Branson knives that you may be putting up for sale, please contact me. I agree with you that this guy is one to watch.

Thanks,

Todd (Finn-lander here on BF)
