The SURVIVE! GSO-10, a knife that would make Jim Bowie himself proud, is one of the largest knives in the SURVIVE! Knives line up. Designed to be a "Do Anything" tool, the GSO-10 is a great piece of kit for those who enjoy a large knife. While not a true "Chopper" design, the lighter weight GSO-10 still has enough punch to confidently tackle brush clearing, delimbing, small tree felling and baton splitting those larger campfire logs and branches on the trail, that are usually too large for a smaller knife to handle. The generous finger choil allows you to "Choke Up" your grip on the blade for greater control and a more neutral balance and lends itself to finer cutting and carving tasks. If you like a bigger blade and can only take one tool, consider the SURVIVE! GSO-10 for your next adventure.

A bit about the steels used in SURVIVE! Knives: CPM-3V is a high alloyed tool steel, made using the patented Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, that has a very high impact toughness and excellent edge holding. Being made with the CPM process, this steel is also very resistant to lateral stress (flex) breakage, making a perfect choice for a very high performance, hard use knife. CPM-3V is NOT a stainless alloy and can stain if not cared for.
