I grind my bevels with files. Hand sanded to 400 grit. Scales affixed with G Flex epoxy. Sheath cemented and saddle stitched. I guarantee your satisfaction and integrity of the tool.

1084 steel, 3X normalized, 2X tempered to 59-60rc.
1/8" thickness thinly flat ground 3 1/4" blade and 7 1/2" overall.
Black canvas micarta scales with black G-10 pins. Black leather sheath for righty.

that's an unbelievable price for such clean work! I would gobble this up if it were stainless
 
I'm in the same situation as fishface. Actually looking a very similar knife in D2 (LT coyote) but I'm so tempted... at that price. I keep coming back to think it over.

What is the width of the handle and weight of the knife without the sheath? I'm really looking for something to piggy back on my M4 bush/camp knife.
 
3.7oz for the knife and an extra 2.0oz with sheath.
Handle is 5/8" or 0.625" thick and 1.0" wide at the palm swell.
