I’ll call this a hybrid tactical knife. It has some good features if a tactical knife like grippy machined handles, an exposed tang, skeletonized underneath the scales for weight reduction; but it has thin geometry so it actually cuts well.

Price: $195 PayPal, shipped USPS, in the US.

Specs:

.187” thick, about 4.5” blade, 9.5” overall length, about 7 oz.

CPM MagnaCut - Austinized at 2050 for 30 minutes, plate quenched, then directly into a “below sub zero” alcohol bath at -175f for 1 hour, 350 temper 2 hrs x 2, 62 hrc.

Edge established with a 200 grit CBN wheel cooled with machining coolant, then a 1000 grit CBN wheel, also with coolant, then stropped with CBN and white compound. The edge was .004” prior to sharpening. This has a thin edge.

Blade is hand sanded to 400 grit, then tumbled.

Scales are double black canvas micarta. They are attached using stainless torx screws and threaded stainless standoffs.

Sheath is a
basic, black kydex with tight retention. Sheath screw holes are spaced 1.5” for tek-lok compatibility, but not sold with one.10CAB29B-4FCE-458A-BF99-410733A6CA88.jpeg

Yes!! That is a fantastic design. The info about the coolant assisted sharpening wheel is excellent info for prospective customers!!

Looks very much like a Molletta/Lionsteel design with the handle machining. Very nice piece!

I really like this also!!!

Great design!

How long till more?
