Sold. Rare, (and rarer by the day), Spyderco Dodo Carbon Fibre.
This is a beautiful and utterly unique knife which I have hesitated to part with. Aside from some light scratches on one side only of the blade (shown very clearly in the sunlight in one picture. Hard to see in other light; it was tricky to get the scratches this visible), it has only been lightly carried so is in very good condition. It has never been sharpened, but is still very sharp.
Keep in mind that this is not a little carbon-fibre-like sticker on top of G10- this knife's handle is solid carbon fibre, and the cream-white ball which locks it up is ceramic, harder than steel. So what you get essentially is a gorgeous knife which looks at home and in fact adds a bit of flair to a black-tie evening (with its very own white tie), yet is still fully capable of offering assistance if James Bond happens to crash down from the chandelier looking for the latest evil Russian villain- yes, he's back to being Russian again!! Quick, cover your head and get under your school desk!!
When you are lucky enough to find this knife elsewhere, you will pay $400.00. Just Google it. I am letting it go for... Reduced... I think, considering what I payed, and the condition of the knife, and the fact that it is very hard to find, that that is reasonable. Comes with box and the inner paperwork. Includes Priority Shipping. Will be in the mail Monday July 13, AM.
