Here is the second 'JBT' I finished up last week... this one with darker brown scales...
The 'Jause, Bird and Trout' - long, slim and elegant. A classic Bird and Trout design that also lends itself perfectly to the Austrian tradition of Jause - a snack of cold cuts that is normally served outside. Crafted in stainless steel with a full tang and filework on the spine. The scales are beautifully figured brown maple burl with brick red fibre liners and a mosaic pin. The maple burl has been stabilized in-house - a process whereby the wood is impregnated with resin. Stabilized wood is very hard wearing, unlikely to crack or warp and is water resistant.
