Hi Folks!
Here is the hidden tang version of my new 'Ponodoro' hunter with some stunning Arizona Desert Ironwood...
Named after the esteemed big game hunter John 'Pondoro' Taylor and inspired by the big tuskers of his day. A rounded handle, lanyard tube, generous finger guard and a tapered tang combines practicality with the aesthetic.
This 'Pondoro' is the hidden tang version - the handle is crafted in a dark, striking Arizona Desert Ironwood. The blade is in M390 stainless steel - one of the best powder metallurgy steels available that gives superb edge holding and a beautiful satin finish.
After a hard day's work in the field, this knife will make light work of breaking down your quarry. Enough blade and robust enough for some of the largest thick-skinned game like Cape Buffalo as well as general duties around the campsite. This knife will serve you well in hunting trips for the rest your lifetime.
The 'Pondoro' is also available as a full tang, with jimping or filework on the spine and with a variety of handle materials. Please inquire for a custom order.
