Hi Folks
Something new form me...
The 'Ruark' - an all-round outdoor knife and one of my latest designs. Robust, with a full-tang and fairly thick at the spine - this knife will be up to any campsite job but is also small and light enough to be carried on your belt without noticing its there. The dropped point makes this a great tool for hunting with jimping on the spine for when things are wet and slippery. With a generous curve for the finger at the choil and hook at the back (bird's beak), it would be hard for this blade to get out of your hand. The tapered tang not only 'adds' lightness to this design but also elegance. Built for many years adventuring in the outdoors.
This one is in Bohler N690 stainless steel - a great all-round knife steel that has proven itself over the years to become the standard of handmade knives in Europe. Jute Micarta scales with vulcanized fibre liners and Nickel Silver lanyard tube, pins and a Corby bolt at the front. Robust and practical with virtually zero maintenance required (just the occasional sharpening). Custom fitted leather sheath.
Blade thickness: 4.1mm (0.16")
Blade depth: 35mm (1.37")
Blade length: 103mm (4")
Overall length: 217mm (8.5")
Handle material: Jute Micarta with vulcanized fibre liners
Fittings: Nickel Silver
Weight: 184g (6.4oz)
Weight with sheath: 250g (8.8oz)

SOLD Euro
Also in my webshop with a few more pics and a video: The 'Ruark' Hunter
Thanks for looking!
