Bowie has blade in 1095 carbon steel, Bolster and guard in carbon steel with a polished finish, Pommel handle fitting made completely manually, handle in maple burl.
Buffalo leather sheath with manual insertion.
Comes with case.

Hello all. I thought I would take a couple of moments to comment on this knife and on my interactions with Lucas. I received this knife from him in a matter of days as it made its way from Brazil. The knife packing was bulletproof in nature and it was clear that Lucas wanted to ensure its safe arrival. He spent a great deal of time in communication with me and shared further photos and a video clip of the build.

This knife did not disappoint! Quite the contrary, it met or exceeded my expectations. As I wrote to Lucas, “I can only congratulate you on the excellence of this knife. From my first examination of it your craftsmanship is superb, and the fit and finish of the knife is as good and sometimes better than some of the knives made by top ABS Journeyman smiths, and some of the knives made by the Master Smiths. Well done!” As I also mentioned to him, this knife is destined to be a fine collector item because, for me, it is way too beautiful to take out and hammer away with. As such, I choose not to test its forged blade, but I am highly inclined to believe that the blade is every bit as good as the rest of the knife’s component parts. Congratulations to Lucas for providing a superlative blade!
