Another one forged from 1/8" flat bar of 15N20.
Forged to 0,075" thickness and with high grind. It's a wicked sharp little slicer.
I've tried to forge it to fit in Bird 'n trout or nice EDC design, and to keep it good looking and simple, but this time really thin. It's differential heat treated with clay, and hand sanded with 1500 grit.
Etched in lemon acid, and there is nice hardening line visible on the bevels.
Flats are wet forged and wire brushed.
Sheath is made from light brown 4mm thick (0,16") vegetable leather.
For handle material i used Textolite (vintage phenolic micarta), red vulkanfiber liners and carbon fiber pins.
Details:
Overall length - 7,7"
Blade length - 3,5"
Blade width -0,9"
Thickness at the back of the spine - 0,075" (1,9mm)
Knife weight is 2,3oz, and with sheath is 5,1oz
Asking SOLD, and priority shipping with tracking number included
