[/SIZE]Blade Material: O1, flats sanded to 220 grit, bevels to 1000.

HT: by Darrin Sanders to 59-60 RC

Thickness: (I don't have a micrometer) It is a tad less than 3/32, so about 5/64.

OAL: 8 3/4"

Tip-To-Guard: 4"

Cutting Edge: also 4", because of the way the guard is tilted forward at the top.

Handle Materials: linen micarta, brass, G10, natural myrtle wood with a few coats of Tru oil, then Johnsons Paste Wax. All glued together with West G-Flex.

Imperfections: 1. A few scratches and scuffs from handling during sharpening. 2. That center panel of G10 does not line up perfectly with the blade, as you can see. 3. There is some epoxy residue on the front of the guard that I just could not get off. I scratched the guard a little trying to scrape off the extra epoxy. I have tried to depict all of these issues in the photos.

No sheath. I am not doing sheaths until I get better leathercraft tools.

I am asking $70, which includes Priority Shipping in USA.

Please claim the knife in this thread, to keep things simple. If I get claims through email, PM, etc, I will look at the time stamps and compare, but it is easier if you claim in this thread.

Note for sizing: That is my hand in the picture, and I wear size SMALL gloves.

Beautiful job. Love the geometric work you did with the handle matls. The small pattern of circular dots on side of the balde... it that your logo? A redsquid perhaps?

Thank you, Gray. I really struggled to get the curves right, trying to make a good Nessmuck. I learned there is a lot more complexity to a Nessmuck than meets the eye.

That's my logo, until I can get an etching device. A few months ago, it started out as an octagon with a triangle inside. The triangle was for my first initial "A" and the octagon was for my last initial "O." So it was an abstraction of my initials. Nowadays, it's just an octagon with just two dots inside, because two dots inside is easier than a triangle inside.

Glad to see you back with more product. I'm very please with the knife I bought from you. Nice work on this one!

Thanks, everybody, for the kind remarks.

I like that a lot. I'm a big fan of the Nessmuk. You said a mouthful when you said "I learned there is a lot more complexity to a Nessmuck than meets the eye". I love the way the grain of the wood follows the grip. The flaws you mention decrease with experience. You have the concepts correct. Very nice. Too bad I've been doing other things and missed it.
