This was second hand to me , I purchased off of another forum with a very brief description of condition which was less than detailed.
Here is my comments:
Originally Blue G10 , I don’t know if it was dyed or swapped
Last owner claimed brand new hardware installed at Hinderer , the screw hardware does look brand new.
Clip and tab have minor pocket wear and use.
Lock side has typical wear and use.
Has box, Triway parts , assembly card and peanuts
Action is good and well centered ( I have not taken apart )
Now the blade ( hence the lower price). It has been sharpened poorly and quite a bit. Whoever handled this hit the plunge grind a bit. They also removed enough material to alter the blade profile and tip .( I can only guess the tip was broken and this was their fix ?) if I had another slicer grind at the moment I would post side by side for the visual but I don’t .
With a fresh edge this would be an excellent work knife but it will probably never be a paper slicing laser beam without a full regrind .
I’ve tried to capture everything in full res pics and have a video upon request .
Please ask any questions before committing.
