Up for sale is my GEC #43 Oregon Trapper manufactured in 2018. The model is 431118. I hate to sell it but I have not used it but a few times. The knife has a nice solid snap and a perfect pull to me - I’d rate it 6 on my scale. The half-stop is near flush, it is flush in the open position. It was beautifully crafted by Tidioute Cutlery in my home state of Pennsylvania.
This Oregon Trapper has beautiful Rust Red Jigged Bone handles. They have a very nice color and jigged pattern. The single blade is 1095 carbon steel, spear point, and is nicely centered. It is very stout, and It is etched with ‘PPP’ on one side, with a nice satin finish. The liners are brass, the shield and bolsters nickel silver. Blade length is 3.37” with a length of 4.25” closed.
There are a few superficial scratches on the bolsters, and blade. A beautiful knife. It comes complete with tube, but I managed to misplace the cap - if I find it will send it out at that time.
Price for the knife is $75 $70. I will ship USPS First Class included in the price, which includes tracking. PayPal only, I will eat any fees. CONUS only. No trades. First 'I'll Take It' posted in this thread gets the knife.
Thank you for looking!
