The Lloyd is SOLD. Just over 3.5 inches closed. Made by John when he had a shop in Loreto.
The La Combre is SOLD gorgeous and the handles are made of a rare wood, Monkey Apple Tree, native to South Africa where Tim makes his knives. It is very much like ebony. About 4 inches closed.
Both of these knives have extremely strong springs. The La Combre is pinchable so not really a problem, but I would not open it with my thumb. Centered blade. Very tight blade with no play at all. Makes you feel very confident the knife will not close during use, almost like a locking knife. I happen to love strong springs, but, if you do not, these might not be for you.
They both have been lightly used but look great.
