The length is 6 1/2", blade length is 2 9/16", the blade, liners and clip are anodized titanium. The scales are black and blue G10. There is a thumbstud and flipper, with micro bearings. The blade will flip open with wrist action, but not near as well as a hardened steel blade. The blade has a 1 1/4 " sharpened edge, a 3/4 " serrated edge, a bottle opener and a flat blade screwdriver/pry tip. It weighs 2.00 oz. sold! Thanks, Alan

Cool idea ;) I can easily see this idea morphing into other forms and materials too. Like a steel blade with a partial edge plus tools. The weight would still be less that a sheathed multi-tool. Just try to come up with the most used tools on a multi-tool and incorporate as many of those on a single blade as practical. Nice . . .

I gotta get that for my wife. She needs something like that for her abusive ways! Consider it sold if its still available. Thanks

Sold to STR ! pp or m/o , know the feeling, my wife uses knives that I have made, without a cutting board on our counters in the pots & pans, and to pry things all the time!

Alan,
That is really cool and original. I have been working on a scout knife for some time now but you beat me to the punch and with just one blade. Hell of an idea. Keep up the good work.

Alan when you come up with one in a tough tool steel please post it up here or shoot me an email. Thanks Martin

Got it today. Now this is just a jim dandy user! What a neat idea! You may as well put me down for another in steel when you get one done. No hurry but something stainless would probably work fine like 12C27 which is pretty tough or ATS34 maybe if the blade is thick enough but heck even 1095 is a fine choice in a tool like this I think. 1075 too for that matter. Great delivery on this one. I'm thinkin' you have a hit here Alan. Great job!:thumbup:

Hey Alan, if STR thinks you have a winner, well that says a lot since Steve has found that customers want something that is different.

Thanks, Kris, Steve and Martin, I like the the idea of 1095 or even 1075, it would be easy to spring temper the tip for prying without ruining the heat treated edge which could be differentially heat treated keeping the spine more flexibile, Thanks again guys! Alan
