Hey guys, I have up for sale a one off Lorien design - the Trail Cutlet. Lorien is a part of the CPK design family. The Trail Cutlet was designed by Lorien as his perfect big chopper, with everything he wants in a large knife. It was also designed as a prototype for a future CPK chopper. It is an incredible work of knife art! It is stunning. Completely hand finished by Lorien, it is one of the most badass and beautiful knives I've ever seen. Balanced perfectly. It looks so good I've never been able to bring myself to use it. I've only admired it.
Here is Lorien's description when he first posted it. "This here's .189" thick CPM 3V with an overall length of about 18"- as long as I can fit in the heat treating oven with the door shut
Handle is Terotuf laminated to G10. Brass pins. Skelotonizing cutouts are filled with low rebound rubber which is a gimmick I intend to exploit. The edge is also curved along its entire length which creates more of a shearing effect. The sheath is hand stitched 9oz leather, hot waxed. Pretty fun blade! It's kind of a grail type design for me in a way, has all the things I like in a big knife for the forest." I also asked Lorien about the heat treat on this, and he said "Nathan advises me on heat treating, and while this isn't technically the Delta protocol, it's VERY VERY close." I just measured it, and it is 17.25" overall with a 12" total blade length.

It is in perfect, new, unused condition. I am the original and only owner, and it has been in a climate controlled gun safe its whole life. It comes with a terrific leather sheath Lorien custom made for it, which fits like a glove and strongly holds the knife in place. I'm asking $895 PP G&S (well below what I paid for it), which includes shipping and insurance, and will have a signature confirmation of delivery due to the high value.
