Sold Thank You
Used 2008 Bob Dozier DK-FH Ironwood Folding Hunter
Used- I haven’t carried it, I’ve cut paper with it. The thinner .125 blade stock slices really nice. The blade is centered and evenly ground.
The Ironwood scales were sort of rough so I took them off and started to sand them. I finished the presentation side to 600 grit. The scales are hard and I just took the finishing marks off the ironwood scale. I polished 1 set of scale screws. There’s lock stick when it’s dry. Normal lube or a sharpie fixes it.
So the knife itself “Blade and Frame” is like new- I bought it as new. The Ironwood Scales and Mounting screws aren’t.
7” OAL
3” Blade
4” Titanium Handle
Iron Wood Scales
Hollow Ground Blade
Blade is Centered and evenly Ground
D2 Blade Steel
.125” Blade Stock
.875” Blade Depth
Michael Walker Liner Lock
Ironwood Backspacer
Tip Down Pocket Clip
Will Trade towards a Phill Hartsfield Kwaiken or other one of his knives.
It’s a $565 knife when new. I have 2 other Doziers and won’t be carrying this one. I like a slightly larger knife. I figure if I sent it to Bob for a spa treatment and paid shipping both ways I might get more but really I’d only break even for the effort.
