I've got up for sale a used Hinderer Eklipse with FDE G-10 scale. The blade is s35vn.
I'm the second owner. I purchased this knife online from a smaller dealer that claimed this knife was used but the previous owner didn't cut anything with it. I've carried this knife around for a week and opened a few packages, but that's all the use I've had.
This knife does have some issues, first of which it does not flip really at all when the blade is centered. I really have to tighten the pivot to get it centered. Really the sweet spot for decent flipping action is close to the presentation side, so close it almost looks as if it's touching. See pictures below.
Second, it almost looks like in the right lighting that the blade may have scratched up against the liner. I'm not 100%, but that's kinda what it looks like. It was really hard to capture in the pictures below, so it's not really noticeable, just under certain light and at the right angle.
I've tried a few things to center the blade and get it flipping nice, but so far I haven't been successful. Maybe you'll have better luck. As such, this is being priced accordingly: SOLD.
Comes with box and peanuts, but no assemblers card as it didn't come with it when I purchased it.
Price includes shipping, insurance, and PayPal fees. I make every effort to ship within 24 hours, but I do ship USPS Priority mail within the USA, so Sundays are a no go.
Thanks for looking!
