Good condition, lots of life left, lock function is perfect, but they do show their user status. Both are reground thinner behind the edge. H1 is a fantastic steel with high toughness and completely rustproof that takes extremely thin geometry without becoming frail. With a thinner full height grind like I have done here not only will they cut better, but be even easier to sharpen than they already are due to thinner behind the edge. A few passes now and again on a ceramic ceramic rod will keep these cutting and cutting with barely no real effort at all.
Both handles have been reprofiled to remove first ridge, and Salt 2 has been Rit dyed green. The Pac Salt tends to pic up dirt where I modded the handle, but cleans up easily enough with dish soap and a Scotchbrite pad. If you Rit dye it darker you will never notice. Also, I reprofiled the Salt 2 tip after I accidentally jabbed straight into concrete, bending it 90°. It's just about 1/8" shorter than from the factory. Boxes and papers included. Pac Salt 2 comes with a deep carry clip and two screws. Salt 2 comes with a grey Ti clip that I think came with a Caribbean, and three factory screws.
Both SOLD
Thanks for looking!
