The Lightweight Exposure Suit made with GORE-TEX® fabric delivers unsurpassed comfort in rain, high wind, and extreme cold conditions. The durably waterproof, windproof, and breathable GORE-TEX® fabric keeps you comfortable by allowing your perspiration vapor to escape from your garment, keeping you and your clothing drier.
This lightweight garment system is extremely packable, which allows you to move around and react to changing field conditions more quickly. The Lightweight Exposure Suit can be worn individually or in combination with other levels of the USMC Cold Weather System.
GORE-TEX® fabric maintains its outstanding protection over time, even after exposure to harsh contaminants such as DEET, petroleum, oils, and lubricants. The jacket and trouser feature n-IR signature reduction technology that is durable for the life of the suit.
