Gentlemen,
I pleased to offer this Bird & Trout blade in Uddeholm Vanax Superclean steel. You might have heard about it by now but if not here's how Chuck at Alpha Knife Supply describes it.
"Vanax is a third generation powder metallurgy nitrogen stainless steel. The steel has very little carbon. Nitrogen is used in place of the carbon to make the steel hard. The result is a steel with extreme corrosion resistance, excellent edge holding and is easily resharpened."
I've been working with it off and on for about a year now and have been impressed with it's performance. I've been able to get about RC61 out of it in the heat treating process which includes LN cryo.
The handle material is some vintage natural micarta I got from @Milan Mozolic a while back and according to him it's from the 70's. Whenever it was made it is fantastic stuff. It's got great butterscotch coloring that I don't see on most of the newer stuff that I've worked with. The guard is bronze.
If you're looking for a great little B&T and/or small hunter I think this is the knife for you.
