Alrighty folks. These two are essentially small skinners, but will make exceptional EDC pocket fixed blades. Both are in .164 thick VANAX Super Clean (the new formula), Heat treated by Peters' with tapered tangs.
both have OAL a smidge under 6 inches. Cutting edge is 2.75 inches. The index, middle and ring finger grips the handle comfortably, while the pinky rests below the butt, supporting the blade in a saber grip (or forward grip). I know quite a few hunters like to choke up on the blade in a pinch grip, and these facilitate that really well.
First one (the one that looks like standard 2x2 twill Carbon Fiber) is handled in RUBBERIZED CARBON FIBER from A&J Composites. This stuff is grippy! Think SureTouch G10 but in CF. This one has red and black G10 liners, a large Titanium Corby and a stainless steel lanyard tube.
Second one is done in FORGED CARBON FIBER, also from the fine folks at A&J Composites. With red/black/red G10 accents and red/black G10 liners, a large Titanium Corby and a stainless steel lanyard tube. To show off the forged/marbled pattern, I took this one to 1200 grit, this seems to offer a bit of remaining grip while showing off the figure.
Each comes in a kydex sheath with IWB kydex loop.
