It's a great knife but I never carry it. For me, it's just a bit too large for a slippy and the blade sticks out of the handle way too far.

It has a slight bit of patina. It comes in the original tube with the wax paper and the pin. It has great snap and is easy to open by pinching the blade. No need to use the match striker pull. It has been sharpened so that it will shave. The factory edge left much to be desired.

The wood, brass, and pins are all still in great shape, as is the shield. It has been nicely taken care of and has not been dropped or modified.

I really want to say, that it is just too nice of a knife to have sit in a safe. I like it but I never use it. Someone needs to use this knife. It is made for it. I just prefer something a bit smaller. I'm glad that it's going some place that it will hopefully be used. The effort and love that were put into this forum knife, by all involved, was immense. I really appreciate it.
