I've run out of room in my cutlery collection file cabinet and need to make some space.
Years ago, I was in a Loveless style Hunter collector frenzy and also added this vintage Marbles (Gladstone, Michigan) Loveless Sport 99 to my collection.
(Purchased from a forum member in November 2007.)
This knife has:
Handle of stacked leather washers - which after purchase, I gave a very thin coat of 100% beeswax as a preservative.
Original box, sheath, tissue paper wrapping, and cardboard blade sheath
Blade steel of high quality 52-100 ball bearing carbon steel with the Loveless stamp on the blade
The knife has never been used nor sharpened
While the knife was carefully stored with a thin oil coating (outside the cardboard sheath and in acid-free paper) as well as a dessicant pack in the box, there still formed some small, light spots of tarnish on the reverse side of the blade near the tip.
See the pics for more details.
Asking: $SOLD
Price include CONUS Priority USPS Shipping.

Thanks for looking,
Mike
P.S. As a side note, all proceeds are placed into a college fund for my kids (daughter age 12, son age 10).
