WESTERN CUTLERY, MODEL 742, PREMIUM STOCKMAN POCKETKNIFE, 3-BLADES. This knife was Western's largest pocketknife, measuring a mammoth 4 inches closed, and 7 inches open. It contains the standard blade configuration for premium stockman, a master blade, spey blade, and sheepfoot blade. In spite of its size, it opens and closes easily and snaps "with authority." The handle is a beautiful wood", which has a lustre surface. The master has a long pull. This knife is MINT, that was purchased from a retired Western employee. The knife is highly polished with factory sharpening. It would make a fine addition to any Western collection, or to ber used for heavy duty tasks. Made in the 70's,or so it was one of the last knives to be mass produced when Western was in Longmont, Colorado. Own a piece of history, in mint condition.The knifes metal almost looks Silver....
