1. Vintage french mountain rescue high visibility wool blanket. This is the authentic version, as noted by the embroidered initials, not the ones without initials and taped edges. Super heavy duty utterly bombproof blanket, definitely tough enough for field use. Dense, thick, warm wool - weighs approx 5lbs. No holes, stored in cedar chest. Measures approx 80 x 55". $sold shipped, paypal F & F, continental usa.
2. Vintage european military wool blanket from the 70's with a top quality weave and felt. Super dense, thick, and windproof. Weighs just shy of 5lbs. Measures approx 79 x 52". I had quite a few of these, and this one was by far the best example. Must have been a different mill because the wool and weave is nearly twice as thick as the others. No holes, stored in cedar chest. $sold shipped, paypal F & F, contintental usa.
