Knife is now SOLD
G2
Just picked this up a short while ago, it's called the Viper Free SmartLock, remember, it's a name, not an offer
Some Specifications from BladeHQ:
Overall Length: 8.30"
Blade Length: 3.50"
Blade Thickness: 0.14"
Blade Steel: D2 Tool
Handle Material: Black G-10
Handle Length: 4.75"
Handle Thickness: 0.55"
Weight: 4.4 oz.
Made in Maniago Italy by Tecnocut
Pretty much a catch and release, again...I thought I would be ok with just the tip down only carry, but just can't get by that, so posting her up forsale.
I will get some pics up in a bit, but it looks like the photos you'd see on BladeHQ's website, which is where I picked this up from. I did touch it up on ceramics and stropped it but it just made it cut that much better.
Price shipped in the USA $130 to your door, sorry no paypal, US Postal Money order is the ticket.
The lock or what they call the SmartLock is ingenious, you need to see the vid's of it check it out here
On the one I have, the tolerances are very very tight, so for now, you don't need the sliding SmartLock to do anything, locked up there is no blade play at all, BUT, I've found that you can't just thumb it open and have it lock, because they are so tight right now, but, when I open it and then use my index finger to snap the blade fully open using the jimping on the spine of the blade, which is excellent by the way, the knife locks in place solidly. After more use and some wear on the lock bar I would imagine that it would open by thumb and lock up, but for now, it's tolerances are very nice and tight.

Sorry no trades on this,
Thanks for checking,
