This model is the Voyager, a bird & trout style bushcraft knife. A great choice for fish & game prep, and excellent at woodcarving tasks.
Blade. 1/8 inch thick O1 high carbon tool steel, heat treated & tempered in an electronic furnace to an RC hardness of 58-60. 4 inch cutting edge, about 7/8 inches tall. Hand-rubbed satin finish sides, mirror polished scandi grind edge.
Scales. Stabilized maple burl, turquoise & natural tones. Polished & contoured to fit comfortably in the hand for extended use. Fastened together with two 5/16 brass loveless bolts & a 3/8 brass mosaic lanyard tube. Black liners.
Sheath. 7-8 oz vegetable tanned tooling leather. Stitched with waxed artificial sinew. Dyed brown & hit with a high-sheen water repellent finish.
