This guy turned out great!

The sheer amount of detail in the scales is awesome, you could stare at the yellow cedar burl all day long and find something new

I'm also pretty sure I've got my process for hamon making down just enough that I can get activity every time. Now its all about control and keeping them similar on both sides

SPECS
OAL 8 1/4"
STEEL: W-2 tool steel with a hamon
SCALES: Dyed (Black/purple) Yellow Cedar burl (from @kiranskoa) with Black/White g10 liners and bronze pins holding everything together!

$350 shipped with a basic leather sheath
thank you all for looking and don't be afraid to ask questions!
