Greetings everyone, Here’s a new Wharncliffe I just finished up. Hope you like it!

8670 with Paul Bos HT to 60,61- Dimensions - .13” x 8 7/16” OAL and 1 1/2” tall – 4” from tip to scales – Hand sanded to 600 grit for a clean satin finish. Balances between the first and second pins. I just can't abide a dead straight edge so there's a hint of a belly on my Wharncliffes.

The scales are Richlite with black Micarta spacers. It looks like purpleheart wood. It’s finished to 1200 grit with 5/32” brass pins (2 mosaic) and lanyard tube. Finished with multiple coats of Danish oil then buffed with carnauba wax. Sheath has a nice snug fit.

Asking only $SOLD to your door, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. I can accept paypal, check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US.

Thanks so much for looking! Please feel free to comment, ask anything here or via PM.

What a cool knife. That handle material looks great in that shape and color. I rarely care for lanyard holes but this looks super in that elegantly shaped handle. Your knives make me smile imagining how good they must feel.

Thanks Guys, Yeah I'm 50/50 on lanyards tubes too but on a boat/sailors knife I'm good with it and many of my hunters and most choppers too. On a dedicated skinner or filet mucked up in goo? Not so much. The handle is very comfortable to my hand and indexes well.

John, would you take $140? If so, let me know. I will go to the post and fire off a money order today if we strike an accord.

Hi P psywar1988 Thanks but I'll have to decline, it kinda already is $140 when you take out priority USPS shipping;)

Thats fair.......It's not that I don't think its worth that, it IS absolutely a heck of a deal for the quality!!

For me though, (my own taste), I cant tell if I love it or hate it. I LOVE the Wharnie profile you got there, the mosaic pins, the really well laid out handle (looks super comfy), the craftsmanship. But I just don't know if I'm sold on the purple richlite.....

Try to imagine the most comfortable and stable grip, melting in your hand, with perfect balance, and you won't be even close. His knives must be held to be truly apreciated.

Yo Mr. Fluffyblade. I agree completely with your assessment of John's knives and their handling. I'm fortunate enough to have a lovely knife he called 'black river hunter'. I'm seen a couple of examples on the forum. Mine has Japanese privet scales and red mineral dot inlays. It is all you say for sure and much more.
