Good afternoon Bladeforums friends. This is the last sawmill blade chef knife I have steel for, and going forward, I will be making them in 1084, though it's not outside the realm of possibility that I would acquire more sawmill blades if someone would like the mystique that goes with owning a knife made from repurposed tools.

This one is for woodysone woodysone , and because I believe in accountability, I am creating this thread here so he can post in it, which then gives him the ability to provide feedback later on.

Overall length: 12"
Cutting edge: 7 1/4"
Weight: 8.4 oz

Geometry: ~.008" behind the edge
Primary edge: 15° per side
Microbevel: 20° per side

Thanks for looking!

Just received this, first impression: the handle is extremely comfortable and is well fitted. I would recommend his work to anyone, just wish he would sign his work.

I know, I know. My mom told me that when I made hers. Since then I put a plan in place to build an electro-chem etcher, I have ordered stencils, and am still waiting to hear back from IMG about etching fluid. I fully intend to put my mark on my work, it's just a question of when all those things line up and Remi comes over to help me build the machine.

Russ, thank you for your kind words.

Hey Lone_Wolfe, thanks for the interest! If you'd be so kind as to shoot me an email, I'll let you know what I can do with what's in stock.

Cheers!
