This is a Winkler II belt knife with box and sheath. There are some sheath rub marks on the blade finish. I had purchased a knife like this years ago that turned out to have had a rare bad heat treat. The company replaced it with this beauty, supervised by Winkler himself. I tested the edge by chopping a few times on some clear, straight-grained maple to test the new heat treat. It is excellent. That's the only use this knife has seen.
The box and everything in it says it was made in 2015. This knife was made later, but I don't remember the date.
