Hi Folks
Here is the second compact version of the 'WJ' Recurve Hunter fresh off the bench...
Named after one of the last great ivory hunters out of Mozambique - Wally Johnson.
A gentle recurve leading to a broad, dropped point hunting blade. Crafted in Bohler N690 stainless - this blade not only looks great but will perform too!
A rounded brass finger guard and a full, tapered tang handle that has been shaped from stabilized and dyed Maple Burl. Stabilization is a process whereby the wood is impregnated with resin. This makes it nearly impervious to warping or cracking and is also weather resistant. Tough and beautiful!
A finely detailed mosaic pin in brass and nickel silver complements the fine swirls of the Maple burl and a composite brass and stainless steel lanyard tube ensures that this tool is practical for the field.
This is something a little special and will certainly stand out from the crowd on your next hunting trip.
Blade thickness: 4.2mm (0.17")
Blade depth 36mm (1.4")
Blade length: 102mm (4")
Overall length: 225mm (8.9")
Handle material: Stabilized Maple Burl
Fittings: Brass with mosaic pin
Full, tapered tang with filework on the spine, black and red vulcanized fibre liners, brass finger guard, lanyard tube and a fine mosaic pin. Comes with a custom fitted sheath as seen.

€ SOLD
