Original description

This is a hand forged hawk made with the wrap&weld method..The body is 1018 and the cutting bit is L6..Edge hardened and tempered..The cutting edge is 3 1/8" wide and the head is 5 1/2" long.Hair popp'n sharp.. Light filework on the spine. Ash haft, burned and stained. Finished with boiled linseed oil. The sheath is hand sewn from 9 oz leather..
