9" OAL, 4.5" blade, 2" high at ricasso. This is 200 year old wrought iron from salvaged homestead horse tackle, pure nickel and 1080. The nickel provides contrast as well as inhibiting carbon migration from the edge into the wrought iron sides. This insures a very hard edge. The ferrule is antiqued copper. Handle wood is claro walnut with copper hardware. Hidden tang/morticed handle. Pins and tube are hard peened through providing bomb proof handle construction.

Weld bead character on spine makes for incredibly nice 'jimping'. This combined with the large handle make for wonderful control of the blade.

Sheath is of center seam construction and fitted nicely to the blade.

$435 plus USPS shipping. Returns after 1 week if blade is in shipped condition. Please visit website for guarantee information.

Paypal accepted.

Beautiful work as always Scott!

Nice, but what makes a "tactical skinner"? I never skinned an animal in a tactical situation before.

What!? You've never been jumped arm deep in your Whitetail?! It's just sort of a fun name... I'm not always that serious. :-) It has a broad, curved edge that would be useful for skinning as well as a clipped, swedged point more appropriate for a fighting or self defense blade. A bowie-inspired skinner may be more appropriate.

I was just at Blade Show and was surprised to see some small blades shaped exactly like this that were advertised as 'tactical'....
