Hello,
I have a combo package of a Grayman Mega Pounder Bowie(9" brand new, never used), with sheath and a very slightly used Grayman Satu(Green G10). The Satu has it's own sheath mounted to the sheath of the Bowie so it is a perfect set-up. Here is information from the Grayman website:
Satu: The very first Grayman Folder. Precision machined from CPM S30V steel, Titanium and G10. Designed and built tank tough, 100% made in the USA. 10 oz. The handle is Titanium on one side and Textured G10 over Titanium on the other side. Comes in Black or Green G10. (DLC Coated Satus have Carbon Fiber over Titanium on one side.)
3/16 6AL/4V titanium Lockback
1/16 (.063) ti liner
.100 coarse textured black G10 over liner
CPM S30V Steel blade Heat treated to 59RC, flat ground
4 x 1.5 blade
9-7/8 OAL
.223 black G10 backstraps
Glass beadblasted Titanium clip
Stainless steel hardware
Wire EDM cut locks
3/8 pivot bushing for added strength
Aluminum Oxide blasted liners and lockback and blades
Laser Engraved: GRAYMAN, USA, S30V
Bowie: GRAYMAN POUNDER BOWIES The edge is straight for easy sharpening on the go. The full tang has a lanyard hole and a flat butt that can take a pounding. The blades are single bevel ground for max blade strength, made from tough 1095 High Carbon 1/4" thick steel. No frills, just time tested materials and solid design for no-nonsense deployment. Ships with a "toothy" working edge.
Each knife is hand ground by Mike, 100% made in the United States. Slight variations occur, making each knife unique. Shipped with a tan cordura sheath.
