Hello and thanks for looking. This is a self-defense Pocket Spike that I just finished. It's based on the design and function of the yawara, an ancient Japanese fighting/self-defense tool. It's made from 19th century magnetic tool steel that was originally a butcher's honing rod. Measures 7 3/8", not including the stainless steel split ring and coyote brown 550 para-cord lanyard strap. It's solid steel and weighs 5.7 ounces. The original makers mark reads, "F. DICK", over "MADE IN GERMANY". It comes with a custom wet-formed leather slip sheath. Great defense tool in an emergency situation. Perfect for carrying in a pocket, purse or handbag. Price is SOLD shipped within the US and its protectorates. Thank you ONeill. Most of the higher end rods from this era had excellent heat treatment, like this F. Dick, which I maintain throughout the grinding process. The high-carbon steel was purer since they were using virgin ore in those days. Yes, makes a great attitude adjuster.
