This is a new self-defense Pocket Spike made by me, Bill Goodwin. Unused in its present condition. It is based on the design and function of the yawara, an ancient Japanese fighting/self-defense weapon. Handmade from 19th century hardened tool steel. Steel shows age and use with some original patina. Measures 6 5/8" total length, including the jigged bone pommel. Three brass pins secure the scales to the vine and thorn design fileworked tang. The tool is solid steel. The original maker mark reads, "CAST STEEL". Comes with a custom wet-formed leather slip sheath. Great defense weapon in an emergency situation. Perfect for carrying in a pocket, backpack, glove-box, purse or handbag. Handmade from reclaimed material. No two are exactly alike. Great Father's Day gift for the man who has everything. SOLD $75 shipped anywhere within the 50 US states and its protectorates. Contact me at billgoodwin1958@gmail.com
