SOLD: Z-Max EDC

Ground from .165 thick Z-Max, and heat treated by Peters' to 68 HRC. Blade is 3 inches long with an OAL of 7 inches. Distal taper on the blade and a tapered tang with a hand satin 800 grit finish and rounded spine.

The handle is OD green linen micarta with orange G10 and natural linen micarta liners. Handle is secured with a large COPPER corby bolt and an orange G10 lanyard tube, as well as West System G-Flex epoxy.

Comes with OD kydex pants and IWB kydex belt loop.

Similar. 3 things that Josh's knives have that really check off my boxes are:
The use of premium steels, handle contouring, and the distal taper at the tang. The last one is key, I really like the attention to detail with regards to that added touch.

I appreciate the kind words guys! I make what appears in my mind and then on my doodle pad. And since I prefer "super steels" and high performance materials, that is what I use. The goal is to have a knife that someone will actually carry and use....as a knife. I used to talk to Jerry Hossom online and at Blade a few times many years ago and still recall one of his biggest pieces of advice, a knife should perform as a knife and be comfortable in the hand. Form will follow.

I am so sorry. I just saw this. This is available if you are intetersted still. Z[Max is easy enough to maintain an edge with diamond and/or ceramic.
