Hi gentlemen,
I've got a Kephart up for grabs here. It's part of the Kephart family I'm calling the KV3. It's a smaller version of a design that was developed with the help of @tyyreaun. The steel is Z Wear, which is like 3V with a little more carbon and some Tungsten thrown in for good measure. It's heat treated to RC63 with cryo treatment and low temp tempering to retain maximum wear resistance and hardness. The handle is K&G dyed and stabilized blue maple burl and black curly maple bolsters with white G10 liners and mosaic pins. There is jimping on the thumb ramp.
SPECS:
OAL: 9"
BLADE: 4" long, 1.3" wide. The blade has been hand sanded to 600 grit. The grind is full flat with slight convex near the edge which is down to 0.01" before sharpening.
STEEL: 5/32" Z-Wear tool steel heat treated to RC63.
HANDLE: K&G dyed and stabilized Blue Maple Burl/Black Curly Maple bolsters, white G10 liners/spacer and mosaic pins.
SHEATH: TekLok ready Kydex included.
