Hello all,
I have a very special knife for sale today. It kind of pains me to sell it, but I know I won't use it like it deserves. For sale is a long discontinued ZT 0500 MUDD Manual with the G&G Hawk lock, and a 154CM blade. The knife came to me in a trade a few months back, clearly had been used and carried a lot. I cleaned it up as best I could scrubbing it down, re-loctiting all screws and putting froglube/EDCi everywhere water could get trapped. I also gave it an 800 grit 25 DPS edge (almost matched factory bevel), and stropped to 2 microns. I used it and carried it for a little while there during my deck rebuild project, so the hardest thing it was used for was cutting out some notches in pine boards. Centering is quite close to perfect, action is truly unlike anything I've handled, and the sound it makes, beyond cool (see video). It's a beefy knife weighing in around 7 ounces, even though its official paperwork included says it's 5.9 ounces. It's got a bit of spotting on the blade here and there, but it's a workhorse and I have no doubt that the knife will last multiple lifetimes. Comes with all original paperwork, packaging, and box. No trades please. Asking $old
