I asked him if the blade opens easy or has a stiff detent.

I have owned one before and the detent made using the thumbdisk impossible. So now I am looking for one that can be opened with the thumbdisk.
 
Well we can speculate all night long . But not until he wakes up and drinks his coffee will we hear anything. Hope he is a early riser .LOL

Hi guys, yes you are first in line. The blade is slightly off center when closed but functionally perfect. I can adjust the pivot but I like the way the blade moves right now. The detent is good, but not particularly strong compared to some other ZTs. It won't open by accident.
