M4 is a tool steel that is best know for its toughness and edge retention capabilities. The tradeoff is that it isn't exactly corrosion resistant. It won't rust like a full carbon steel like 1095, but you will have to keep the blade lightly oiled to keep it looking its best. I will be including a complimentary bottle of Breakfree CLP which is what it is oiled with now.
Also see video that the blade is slightly off center. Unfortunately this isn't uncommon in production midtechs and it came this way from the factory.
A method to correct this is 1. Open knife 90 degrees. 2. Fully tighten pivot screw. 3. Close knife. 4. Loosen body screws as much as possible while still holding knife together. 5. Using a shim (folded paper, cardboard etc.) correct blade positioning to center. 6. Retighten body screws. 7. Adjust pivot tightness to your liking. I will leave this up to the buyer.
Also note that this is a spring assisted opener.
