FROM CURTISS KNIVES WEBSITE
F³ "Form, Function, and Fit"
This is our new Flagship model! These knives have been over a year in the making. Many hours of R&D went into these. I made several prototypes and put them under severe testing not only by myself, but several other individuals that got to abuse them for months. The knives have past the tests with flying colors!
Brand new for 2013!
All knives all full titanium framelocks. The titanium is .160" thick.
Standard frame finish is blasted and stonewash. Optional is diamond or frag pattern engraved into the titanium.
S.P.O.T. pivot system. Stop pin over travel. This pivot is locked into place with the stop pin on the lock side to prevent rotation and provides lock bar over travel protection.
Hidden 1/8" high strenth hardened stop pin.
IKBS bearing system for ultra smooth and quick operation.
Lock face carbidized for maximum wear resistance.
Recessed titanium pocket clip with Curtiss Knives crosshairs logo and tip up carry.
The blade steel is .156" thick, Bohler N690 rc60 and the finish is 2-tone blasted and stonewashed with satin flats.
Knives feature standard stainless standoffs or optional titanium back spacer.
Dave's books are currently closed on these guys so here is a great chance to get one that is LNIB
I received this knife brand new from Dave about a month ago. It has been carried a few times, never sharpened.
I had Dave heat color the Ti backspacer before sending it to me, so the anodizing is by him.
This one has stonewashed scales and the Ti gear pattern backspacer. The stonewash on the blade and scales hides any superficial marks really well.
I'm offering it to my fellow Canadians first. Full disclosure w/ shipping and currency exchange I paid approx $450 Canadian dollars for this blade.
Looking to get $400 Canadian for this guy. That will include tracked, insured shipping within Canada. The blade will also come with the padded pouch that I received with the blade. (remember this shipping will be approx $30-40 so in reality the "blade" cost is around $360.00)
If possible I prefer EMT or M.O. Otherwise lets go $410 if using Paypal to help cover the fees
