SOLD
Built this for myself, but found another power hammer I need to adopt-

Southern Bowie, forged from 3/8" thick 1095, the blade measures 10-3/4", and is 2" at the widest. Has considerable distal taper making it feel very lively in the hand for a 16" Bowie. Differential heat treat, sharp clip, convex edge. Guard is blued steel, handle is Black Walnut. Make a good big knife for the woods, hog knife, back up in rough country etc.

Did a working belt finish on this one for ease of clean up after hard use. Any questions feel free to PM me. Price is $625 as shown, or $675 with simple stud type concealment sheath. Paypal preferred, but will also take USPS money order or check if I know you, just NO ODD BALL money orders! Thanks, Matt.

I really like that handle. Not simply the wood and finish, but the shape and substantial proportions.

thanks fellas, it feels really good in the hand, both in being secure and having enough length for several positions etc.... now I need to get it sold!

thanks guys, and as you can probably tell in the pics, the Walnut needs a few more coats of finish, then wax, will look even better at that point.
